Pine Country Decor is a small "Mom & Pop" business. For many years I wanted my own business, but didn't know what kind of a business to start. Then I started painting lessons in 1992 and loved it so much that my husband and I decided to make a business from it.
My husband got a scroll saw and started cutting pieces for me to paint. First we started with area craft fairs and before we knew it, other people were asking for our wood crafts to paint. Then came the gift shop and studio, The Shop In The Pines. I started giving painting lessons at my shop, in community education classes and for private groups. And then the next dream was a website....thus, www.pinecountrydecor.com came into existance.
